Please join us for an evening of dance in honor of Haunani, our very own Shakti girl who will be harvesting the love of her womb in January! This will be her last performance before she takes her maternity break, so don’t miss it! We will be debuting all new Shakti material and have an amazing line up of performances for you. Drum roll please.....On the line up we have a beautiful Classical Indian Dance Artist new to the islands Aimee Micheals, David Heller the breakdance ninja, Aerial silk artist Daneille Cohen, Madame X, the sultry girl groups of Tribal Fusion Belly Dance, Badra, Phoenix Dance Project, Devi Dance Company & of course Shakti Dance Movement. This is just a sneak peak at what we have in store; they will be joined with many more special guests!
This show is also a Shakti fundraiser!! Help the Shakti Girls get our butts to our favorite festival of the year, Tribal Fest 2013 in Sebastopol California!! Shakti Dance Movement has been representing Hawaii strong every year at Tribal Fest, the largest Tribal Fusion Belly Dance Festival in the world, since 2007!! Wow! As always we will have a wonderful wine & beer bar for your drinking pleasure. The Shakti girls are also going through their closets! It’s Belly Dance Garage Sale time, so bring some cash or cards if you see something you like. And as a very special treat... the Shakti girls will be baking up something divine and delicious that will be available for purchase.
